SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 7, 2010) -- City Attorney Dennis Herrera will take the oath of office for his third term this afternoon at a public ceremony in City Hall's North Light Court. California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer will emcee the event, and California Assemblymember John A. Pérez will administer the oath of office. Pérez won unanimous support from the Assembly's Democratic Caucus last month to serve as California's next Assembly Speaker.
